Cooperation with Nature Park Dragišnica and Komarnica

At Vjetro park Bijela D.O.O., we believe that building a sustainable future goes hand in hand with protecting the environment and supporting local communities.

To strengthen this commitment, Vjetro park Bijela D.O.O. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nature Park of Dragišnica and Komarnica, Šavnik, a public company responsible for the protection and management of natural resources in the region.

Why this partnership matters

The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration during the development, construction, and operation of the Bijela Wind Farm predominately located in the Municipality of Šavnik.

Together, we aim to:

• Protect the environment and support conservation efforts in the Nature Park.
• Promote social development, with initiatives that benefit local communities and stakeholders.
• Create synergies between renewable energy operations and nature conservation goals.
• Engage with partners at the local, regional, and national level to maximize positive impact.

This MoU is the starting point of a long-term cooperation. Specific projects and initiatives will be identified and jointly implemented, ensuring that the Bijela Wind Farm contributes not only to clean energy generation but also to the well-being of people and nature in Šavnik and beyond.
