The Bijela Wind Farm is committed to the highest environmental and social standards throughout the development, construction, and operation of the project. Our approach is guided by both national regulations and international best practices such as IFC Performance Standards, EBRD Environmental & Social Requirements, and EIB policies, among others.

Key principles include:

• Environmental protection: Comprehensive environmental assessments and the application of mitigation, management and monitoring programs.
• Stakeholder engagement: Actively engaging   local communities, interest based stakeholders, and authorities - from the planning stage through to operation.
• Social responsibility: Promoting local economic development by creating employment, supporting local suppliers, safeguarding health and safety of workers and communities, and implementing community development.
