Together with the local community, we work to promote sustainable development through tourism, education, culture, sport, agriculture, and environmental protection.
At the start of the new school year, Vjetro park Bijela, in partnership with the Educational Center Šavnik, provided school backpacks and practical supplies for all primary and secondary school students in the municipality.
This initiative helps ensure that every student begins the school year well-prepared and motivated, while also sending a strong message that the community invests in the future of its children.
Supporting education is a key part of Vjetro park Bijela’s responsible partnership, focusing on strengthening the local community and providing opportunities for young people to grow, learn, and thrive in an inspiring environment.
KMF “Bajo Pivljanin” Plužine will participate in the Champions League Qualification Tournament, taking place from 26 to 31 August 2025 in Tirana, Albania.
The team of 25 members, representing Plužine and Montenegro on the international stage, embarks with great ambition and sportsmanship. Their participation is supported by Vjetro park Bijela, highlighting the company’s commitment to local sports and the development of young talents.
This initiative is not only an opportunity for competition but also a platform for learning, experience exchange, and fostering the sporting spirit among youth.
In partnership with the Tourist Organization Šavnik, Vjetro park Bijela supported the creation of a new, modern TO website that highlights the unique attractions of the municipality and its surroundings.
This initiative demonstrates that wind farms around the world are becoming more than just sources of clean energy, as they are attractive destinations for visitors curious about renewable energy and its role in combating climate change.
The new website will connect visitors with the natural and cultural treasures of Šavnik, while promoting sustainable tourism and local development, showing how wind energy can inspire and transform the community.
Recent floods severely damaged the infrastructure and facilities of Nature Park Dragišnica and Komarnica. Thanks to the close cooperation between Vjetro park Bijela and the Park’s management, new infrastructure was delivered on June 11, 2025, restoring the Park’s capacity and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors. New bridges, benches, tables, and waste bins now provide a welcoming space where everyone can immerse themselves in the unspoiled nature of Šavnik.
This project is more than just infrastructure renewal. It represents a symbol of responsible partnership and support for the local community. Vjetro park Bijela financially supported the entire process, demonstrating that renewable energy can have a direct and positive impact on people and the environment.
Today, the Park is not only a destination for walks and relaxation but also a place of inspiration and education, where visitors can experience the harmony of nature and learn how wind energy contributes to a sustainable future.
Vjetro Park Bijela d.o.o. established cooperation with three important institutions in the municipality of Šavnik by signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with the Tourist Organization Šavnik, Nature Park Dragišnica and Komarnica, and the Educational Center Šavnik.
These partnerships are designed to ensure that the development of the wind farm brings real and lasting benefits to the community, from preserving the natural environment and promoting local tourism to supporting education and empowering the next generation.
